Census 2011 Population Statistics
Census 2011 is an important previous official demographic baseline used on Bharat Population. Available Census 2011 records may include total population, male population, female population, households, literacy information, sex ratio, urban population and rural population.
These records are kept under the 2011 Census year so they are not confused with newer Census data.
Census 2027 Statistics

Population Rankings
Where suitable verified data is available, population statistics can also be used to create rankings such as the most populated States or Districts, areas with higher literacy rates or other demographic comparisons.
Rankings should always be read together with their Census year because the relative position of a location may change when newer Census records are added.
How Statistics Are Updated
Bharat Population stores Census-year records separately. When a newer verified dataset is added, it does not need to replace the historical Census record.
This allows the website to update the current Census figures while preserving previous data for historical comparison.
Data Accuracy and Administrative Changes
Population statistics are influenced by the geographic boundaries and administrative classifications used in the relevant Census year.
A District, Sub-District, City or other area may be reorganised between Census years. Therefore, direct comparison should be made carefully when boundaries or classifications have changed.
